You will work with the people who do the work. We just don't print their names here.
J2 does not publish individual profiles or photographs. Our practitioners hold operating roles and confidential engagements across this sector, and a public roster would compromise both. You will know exactly who is on your engagement — names, background and relevant work — on the first call, under a mutual NDA if you prefer.
Why there are no names on this page.
We would rather say this plainly than leave you wondering. Most professional services firms lead with faces, and the absence of them is the first thing a careful buyer notices.
Our practitioners hold operating roles and confidential engagements across this sector. Several of them are, at any given time, working inside companies of the kind this firm advises. A public roster sits badly with that, so we do not keep one.
What we will not do is imply a bigger firm than exists, or describe experience that is not ours. Everything on this site is true of the people who would show up.
What you get instead of a roster.
Names on the first call
Thirty minutes, and you are talking to the practitioner who would lead your engagement — not a salesperson, not an account manager. You will have their name before the call ends.
Credentials on request, under NDA
Full biographies, relevant project history, references and, where the client permits, contactable referees. Provided in writing under a mutual confidentiality agreement before you commit to anything.
Conflicts disclosed before scope
We advise manufacturers and we advise the people buying from them. Where that creates a conflict on your engagement, we tell you before the scope is written and you decide how to proceed. We are not paid referral fees by manufacturers.
One accountable partner, named in the scope
The engagement letter names the individual accountable for the work and the deliverables. The anonymity is on the website, not in your contract.
Which of us you actually get.
One partner owns your engagement and stays with it from the first call to the last deliverable. That person is your relationship — not an account manager, and not a rotating cast. The others join where the work requires their discipline and step back when it does not.
A plant assessment that turns into a capital raise brings in the person who structures capital. A feasibility study that becomes a manufacturer selection brings in the person who assesses plants. You are not paying for a committee, and you are not being handed to someone junior when the interesting part is finished.
It also means the person who identified a problem is usually the person accountable for fixing it.
The disciplines in the network
J2 draws on specialist practitioners across the disciplines modular development requires. They join engagements as the work needs them and stand down when it does not — which is how you get specialist depth without paying for a permanent team.

Talk to the person who would do the work.
Thirty minutes, direct. No account manager in between. You will have their name, and you can ask for their background in writing before anything is scoped.
